When I went to DC, what will stick with me the most, and that will impact my life the most, is not any of the experiences, but just being in the heart of US politics.
U.S Politics is something that I have been a little interested in, but not too much. After this trip, I have had a much greater understanding of politics, the history
of politics, and the U.S government. It sparked a mini-interest for me, which i probably wont persue, but will be atleast interested in for a while.
Something that made me laugh, was definitely at the Jefferson memorial, reading his quotes and discussing about it with classmates, and how much of a hypocrite he was.
I had some great conversations with classmates at that memorial, and talking about how interesting of a person he was.
Something that made me a little emotional was the Holocaust museum, reading all the stories and seeing all the gruesome images of dead bodies and what they did the jews. Was very sad.
